The unit is completely insulated and hydraulically driven.  It contains a 500 hp pump and a centrifulal pump that moves approximatley 500 gallons per minute.  The unit has air actuators in the pump & valve compartments, a four compartment service tank with a 140 bbl capacity and an 8 million BTUH oil fired heater for heating fluids.

There is a 20 kilowatt electric generator for electricity which is used for nighttime operations and for powering the appliances in the operator's compartment (coffee maker and a microwave).
